Front Office

Assistant Front Office Manager (2437) Full Time
Assists Front Office Manager with overseeing all Front Office operations to insure excellent guest services and total guest satisfaction. Supervises guest services staff and assists with greeting guests, checking guests in and out, handling guest requests and complaints, and handling group check-ins. Must have supervisory experience, preferably in hospitality and excellent interpersonal skills. Willing to work weekends, holidays and flexible schedule

Bell Person (2398) Part Time
We are looking for bellmen for the summer season. Job Summary: Greet guests as they arrive at and depart from the resort; and assist them with luggage. Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms. Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all hotel services and features. In addition, the Bell person is responsible for attending to immediate needs of each guest upon arrival and throughout their stay for concierge services, etc. A thorough knowledge of all hotel services and amenities is essential. Skills needed: •Excellent oral and written communication skills •Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision •Ability to read English to a degree sufficient to ascertain information from luggage tags, and claim checks to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists •Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger •Ability to work well under pressure of check-in/check-out of guests and handle multiple tasks at once •Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance •Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public Education : High school graduate or equivalent Experience : Previous Guest Relations experience Certificates & Licenses: Valid drivers license and a clean driving record Must be able to carry up to 50lbs

Front Desk Host (2391) Part Time
We are looking for a Part Time Front Desk Host to join our http://www.seascaperesort.com/admin/employment/team for the summer season. Responsible for providing excellent guest service; duties include checking in/out of hotel guests; taking hotel reservations; some PBX operations to include mail/message service; and concierge services in a professional manner. Demands accuracy with daily accounting procedures. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be detailed and enjoy working with people. Previous experience front desk or customer service required.

PBX Operator (2381) Part Time
Answers switchboard and directs calls for guests and staff. Previous phone experience and computer skills are highly recommended. Must be flexibile in scheduling. This is a part time (2 days a week) temporary summer position.

Carpet Cleaner (2426) Part Time
Seasonal position until September 3rd, 2012. We are looking for experienced carpet cleaners to clean carpets and upholstery in guest rooms and public areas of the resort. The position involves operating carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.

Kitchen

Dishwasher (2404) Part Time
The Kitchen team is looking for a 4 Dishwashers (AM & PM shifts): Summary: Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots. Responsible for maintaining dish room and dish machine. Assists with cleaning other areas of the kitchen as requested. Essential Functions: 1. Can operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications. 2. Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine. 3. Restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. 4. Removes all garbage. 5. Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of a shift. 6. Keeps dish and other storage areas clean and organized. 7. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a Lead, Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager at any time. Qualifications Knowledge 1. Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines. 2. Knowledge of basic dish machine operations. Skills/Aptitudes I. Comprehensive understanding of the English language. 2. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers. Working Conditions 1. This position will spend 100% of the time standing. 2. Job Summary Facilitate food and cocktail service service. Clean tables, remove dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens; set tables; replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes; supply service bar with food; and serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons. Replenish supplies and stock bar with ice, refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer, and replace empty beer kegs.

Job Summary: Serves food and drinks to guests demonstrating and promoting positive guest relations. Works with a point of sale system, accepts money, and makes changes when needed. Assists Bartender with stocking, making coffee, and general cleaning. Essential Duites: Recommends refusal of service to guests due to intoxication, in accordance with set policies and procedures. Specific Duties Performed: 1. Demonstrates and promotes positive customer and guest relations. 2. Serves cocktails and food to customers. 3. Assists with stocking supplies and making coffee. 4. Keeps work stations clean and sanitary at all times. 5. Assists the bartender with duties as needed or requested. 6. Performs other job related duties as deemed necessary or requested by the Bartender and/or Beverage Management. 7.Recommends refusal of service to guests due to intoxication, in accordance with set policies and procedures
