Front Office

Front Desk (Lead) (2427) Full Time
Front Desk (Lead) is responsible for ensuring that consistent high quality customer service is delivered. This individual provides guidance and leadership for the front office staff and acts as the Manager On Duty (MOD) in the absence of the manager; a minimum of one year of supervisory experience is preferred. Essential duties include: Supervise the front desk hosts to ensure completion of essential duties necessary for an efficient Front Desk operation, ensure guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner, supervise front desk hosts in the absence of the manager, complete reports as specified, handle and oversee guest complaints,update daily group information; maintain and be familiar with future group files. Monitor and prepare group requirements and relay necessary information to effected departments and individuals, monitor key control to maintain hotel security and assist in training and motivating front desk hosts Ideal candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and is flexible. Night Auditor (2365) Full Time
A Night Auditor is an integral part of the Resort operations. We are looking for someone who presents a personable, helpful, and professional image. Qualifications: Responsible for reconciling hotel paperwork, posting to guest accounts, closing the day, greeting all guests in a pleasant, courteous and enthusiastic manner while registering guest information and settling guest accounts for the Hotel. Principal Activities & Responsibilities 1. Balance all daily reports for the Hotel. Run reports for restaurants and balance daily receipts against those reports. Balance credit card batch transfer amounts with hotel end of day reports. 2. Accounts for daily revenue by organizing and verifying receipts; identifying and correcting discrepancies; posting accounts; running and distributing daily reports; maintaining internal controls. 3. Reconciles daily revenue by sorting, organizing, and verifying receipts; identifying, researching, and correcting discrepancies. 4. Answers phones and directs incoming calls. 5. Register arriving guests and assign rooms. 6. Provide customer service to guests and visitors and act as the front desk agent. 7. Works with highly sensitive information, maintains confidentiality and discretion in all areas, including planning and promotional procedures and guest information files. Minimum Job Requirements • High school graduate or equivalent. • Accounting, front desk, reservations, PBX, bell staff and valet training or similar experience preferred. • Computer experience essential, including all windows applications. • Good organization and administration skills required. • Ability to meet deadlines, and work well in pressure situations. • Good written and interpersonal skills Physical & Mental Demands • Able to project a professional manner at all times. • Able to stay calm in difficult situations. • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds • Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. • Must be able to maintain focus in a high volume, fast-paced environment. • Must be able to multi-task. Working Conditions & Environment • Schedule currently 11pm-7am Mon, Thurs, Frid, Sat and Sunday. Tues and Wed days off. Must be willing to work holidays.

Housekeeping

Carpet Cleaner (2426) Part Time
Seasonal position We are looking for a carpet cleaners to clean carpets and upholstery in guest rooms and public areas of the resort. The position involves operating carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment. Willing to train the right candidate Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and flexible schedule. This is a very physically challenging position and requires someone who is motivated and not scared of hard work! Must have valid drivers license.

Groundsperson/Houseperson (2443) Part Time
Seascape Beach Resort combines the charm of a beachfront villa with the amenities of a four-diamond resort. Its relaxed elegance reflects the resort's California Coastal style, a harmony of 85 beautiful suites and 164 spacious villas overlooking the Monterey Bay. We are seeking a competent individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Houseman/Groundsman. Job Summary: Respond promptly to request from guest and other departments. Provide support to housekeepers and housekeeping department. Upkeep/Clean resort grounds and resort beach areas. Must be willing to work flexible schedule, weekends, holidays. Ability to lift, push and pull 50 lbs. Valid Drivers License

Kitchen

Dishwasher (2404) Part Time
The Kitchen team is looking for a 4 Dishwashers (AM & PM shifts): Summary: Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots. Responsible for maintaining dish room and dish machine. Assists with cleaning other areas of the kitchen as requested. Essential Functions: 1. Can operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications. 2. Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine. 3. Restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. 4. Removes all garbage. 5. Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of a shift. 6. Keeps dish and other storage areas clean and organized. 7. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a Lead, Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager at any time. Qualifications Knowledge 1. Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines. 2. Knowledge of basic dish machine operations. Skills/Aptitudes I. Comprehensive understanding of the English language. 2. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers. Working Conditions 1. This position will spend 100% of the time standing. 2. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water. 3. The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly. 4. Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction. 5. Must be able to see 20/20 vision with correction. 6. Hours may vary depending on season and business needs

Busser/Food Runner (2386) Part Time

Computer, multi-phone, and guest service experience is highly recommended.

Barback (2377) Part Time
Sanderlings Restaurant at Seascape Beach Resort offers elegant, casual dining with a spectacular ocean view from sunrise to sunset and is looking for an experienced Bar Back who has a passion for providing a fine dining experience that complies with Seascape Beach Resort's customer service standards and company policies and procedures. Job Summary Facilitate food and cocktail service service. Clean tables, remove dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens; set tables; replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes; supply service bar with food; and serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons. Replenish supplies and stock bar with ice, refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer, and replace empty beer kegs.
