Sanderlings Restaurant at Seascape Resort offers elegant, casual dining with a superb ocean view. Our award-winning menu features traditional and contemporary dishes made with the freshest local ingredients, accompanied by a fine selection of local wines. Sanderlings’ semi-private balconies offer the same outstanding view of the Monterey Bay as our restaurant and access to an outdoor patio for $200.00 with a maximum capacity of 32 people. The Peninsula Room is a private room that seats larger parties of up to 40 people, with sweeping views of the Monterey Bay.

SANDERLINGS CHEF DE CUISINE: BORIS ILABACA
Introducing Boris Ilabaca, chef de cuisine at Sanderlings. Boris’s impressive resume includes the Old Bath House in Monterey, The Lodge at Pebble Beach, and a previous reader’s choice list of top 10 chefs on the Monterey peninsula. While Boris's culinary skills and extensive experience is impressive alone, Boris is clearly more interested in the dining experience than in showing off his skill with highly ornate dishes.
Boris takes pride in Sanderlings’ reputation as the place to go for a romantic dinner, but wants to remind local and resort guests that they don’t need a special occasion or unlimited budget to enjoy a fine breakfast, lunch or dinner. Recent lunch specials for just $6.95 include a pesto shrimp pizza topped with fresh arugula, rather than a more predictable basil, and fish and chips with a wonderfully crisp and light breading. For a plate as colorful as the view, try the salmon filet over a rainbow of fresh green beans, tomatoes, potatoes and olives in a perfectly balanced vinaigrette.
